only boomettes

Ain't no way you're able to turn on your computer all by yourself.

Anyway.. it's probably a mod you installed. If not, verify the integrity of the game's files.

That still doesn't cover your own ass with the length the update has gone live "almost four years" ago, not playing often is one thing but almost four years... even that's a stretch.

Unless you absolutely HATE the game to take a hiatus that long, there's no way you would willingly not play Left 4 Dead for that length of time, again if you hated the game at that point in time would be the only thing that would ever make much sense.
