My LFD2 won't launch. Does anyone know how I could fix it?

Steam says its running and than it just goes back and tells me to hit play to launch it but everything else will launch. I've tried everything with deleting the game and uninstalling steam too.

this problem happened to me too a few days ago, I fixed it by
1) Opening the "properties" tab
2) clicking in the "launch Options" box
3) typing "-vulkan" in the box (without the ")
this will put the game into fullscreen borderless mode when launching. Be sure you DO NOT change the video options once in the game, or it will crash and you won't be able to relaunch until you fully reinstall and go through the process again
