Possible To Revert Back To Pre-Last Stand?

I was wondering, is it possible to revert the game back to how it was before the Last Stand update like with the Half-Life 25 anniversary update and still use workshop mods or at least turn off the new animations, weapon skins, CS weapons, and new melee weapons?

i think depot downloader might work, not that theres much of a reason to go back since its just an objectively worse version of l4d2 and no one plays it

you might have to personally edit mods you want to use, some of them might of been updated for TLS and be unusable for older versions.
