Helm's deep reborn has no music [linux]
I have just downloaded the lastest version of helms deep reborn where it is said in the changelog that the music is reimplemented. One problem is that I cannot hear the music! I only hear vanilla music and sounds. Anyone here with a similar problem like me? My game is completely unchanged with exception of a workshop map.

Im on arch linux.

I know my answer is pretty late , but this is the first hit on google when searching for this problem, so to hopefully help others with the same problem, here is what fixed it for me:

In you SteamApps folder (e.g. ~/.local/share/Steam/SteamApps or ~/.local/share/Steam/steamapps) in "common/Left 4 Dead 2/bin", rename (or copy) the existing libmiles.so to libMiles.so (note the capital M). This fixed the music in the main menu and in helm's deep for me.

The reason for this bug seems to be that on linux, most filesystems are case sensitive by default, and the game keeps looking for libMiles.so, but the file is named libmiles.so by default, so it doesn't find it and cannot use it to play mp3 files.
