No. But I believe new players should learn the basics before going online. Please remember that if you go into online games, you will be affecting others. At least having the maps learned makes it more positive for other players. Most people do not understand this unfortunately. They have a entitlement attitude & that causes negative tension.
I will say my experience was & what I did before going online. A few of us played some L.A.N games on both the XBOX 360 & P.C. We practiced there for at least 100 - 125 hours. By then we had the maps learned, knowledge of how the common & the special infected acted & had Expert cleared. THEN we went onto public games. Of course, most people will not have the patience for that.
You have to realize we are all people. We all have different amounts of patience. If you fear you will be treated in a way you don't want to, then avoid public games in general. Single Player and / or Friends - Only games are equally enjoyable.
No, but sometimes new players jump into the most difficult stuff right away without knowing anything about anything in this game. I once played with someone on expert who had 7 freaking hours and got killed several times during the campaign. After the campaign I asked him why the hell he jumped into expert and he said because it was "intense".
I'm all for wanting a great experience when playing a game but what new players don't get is that this is a multiplayer game. That means that while they might be having fun, the other 3 people on the team see them as dead weight most of the time who they have to constantly worry about.
So to be honest, no a player shouldn't be kicked for trying to play a game they bought, a player should be kicked for overestimating themselves and forcing their noobness on others with the expectations that other people have to put up with it, and if they don't then they are horrible people.
Dude, if you're good player you will eventally uprank because you'ill start to win, it's frustating when the other team have 4 good players and the only way you're loosing it's because you have a player with 30h on your team, this leads to ragequit and the player with 30h dont even know what's happening. It's just becoming sad for good players to play alone, because probably you will get noobs on team, or if you play with friends the others will rage
Depends on what they do. Joining public competitive games or hard difficulty can be obnoxious to the people already there when you don't know basics like how to shove or switch weapons.
What if you just gotta go live in the real world for a little while during a l4d2 game?
