No character development and has the worst quotes in the game.

Nick. Almost none of his voice lines sound real and are said with all the enthusiasm of someone walking to a bus stop then seeing the bus is already there.

Ellis. I don't hate him, but he's competing with infinitely better characters voice line and personality wise.

rochelle because she has literally no memorable quotes except for "do you think coach was his first or last name"

also every single quote interaction when reviving people is condescending af and annoying

It has been pretty unanimously decided for a decade that Rochelle is the worst. It's hard to pin, where every other character has this likable aura and personality to them, Rochelle feels like she's just kinda... There. Like she doesn't fit in and was designed as a careless stand-in for Zoey. In the creator's own words, Zoey was sorta like the heart of the group; visibly younger and more frail than everyone else which made the other three survivors more empathetic towards her, but also clearly a girl in a situation where she has to and WILL throw down as her life depends on it which makes her compelling. Now compare Rochelle; Coach is a disgruntled old dude fed up with the situation, Nick is snarky and a bit pessimistic but with determination and Ellis is now the heart of the gang being capable of violence but also almost childishly in his own mind... Then there's Rochelle and she's... Something. Clearly a good person but she has NO personality. Even Francis had a funny bitterness towards everything that wasn't vests which allowed him to bounce off other characters, Rochelle just sorta've exists.

Louis - Optimistic and cheerful to keep everyone going
Francis - Baudy Boisterous Biker Bro with strong feelings about everything
Zoey - Lifeblood of the group
Nick - Sarcastic pessimist convict who learns to love strangers as his friends
Coach - Strong headed big teddy bear who takes control of their situation
Ellis - Lovable childish hillbilly with tons of stories to spare
Rochelle - Rude, boring, annoying, unfunny, charmless woman who acts like a teenager
