How many times people actually read what is being voted for? Or does the brain just automatically goes for F1 regardless what the vote is?

1 hour game in progress with same 2 people. Suddenly a 3rd player joins, kills me and vote to restart chapter. And these APES presses F1 INSTANTLY.

This is the oldest trick in the troll book, and I have certainly fell for it once. I guess your first instinct is to kick the troll ASAP, and they assume the troll themselves won't be throwing out malicious votes. Happens bro.

Yeah... someone else made a very good point about that. People fat finger the vote a lot because it obscures their vision and people really don't pay enough attention to it. Idk what's wrong with people these days really.

That someone was likely me because I've seen it happen not just in this game but also in TF2 and that would be the excuse they would always run with when called out on it.

It was, And it seems to be a problem in any game with a vote system. People don't pay attention nor do they stop and ask why a vote is being called OR give a reason when they call it. From there people just f1 or f2 without thinking just so they don't have to deal with it and continue playing. Either that or they accidentally hit the wrong key.

I like having kick features and vote systems but people seriously don't use them correctly. This is why we can't have nice things.
