Unintentional God Mode in Singleplayer

I am currently having an issue where when I try to play the campaign on Expert or any difficulty while by myself the game puts me into a state where I cannot take damage. Any idea on how to stop this?

I resolved the issue. Just removed all addons and it seemed to do the job...

you still have to figure out which addon was it

No worries, I don't really use addons besides quality of life stuff. The addon that did it for me was showing the health bar numbers for teammates.

Verify your game files first, it might not be an addon issue. You may have accidentally joined a modded lobby, which may prompt the game to download whatever script the host uses.

If the problem still persists, then it is most probably caused by addons; if so, disable them one by one, as you might not have the same addons that OP has.

that happened to me with joining a public lobby how do i fix it

I’m still having trouble figuring out what it is to be honest, I disabled all of my addons and have no idea what script or download it could be.

Just create a new thread instead then.

Anyway, this is usually related to script mods. Sometimes you'll need to quit & then start the game again to completely reset some script settings.
