Tips on Bhopping with Space Bar?

I want to learn how to speedrun in l4d2, aside from zombie hopping I need to learn how to bhop. The only problem is that I can't use the scroll wheel, it is not as comfortable as space bar is to me, and I do better with it. I can only do 2-4 jumps though my target is 10 or more.

Assuming you know how bhop works then..

Simple. Practice. There aren't tips really when it comes to timing your jumps correctly.. that just comes from experience and knowing the quirks of the map you are trying to bhop on.

I use scroll wheel personally, but the same applies to spacebar. Just have to practice. You don't learn how to bhop well overnight.

If you don't know how bhop works then there are tutorials on youtube you can find by simply searching for l4d2 bhop or something similar.

well from what I know the game when you jump gives you an unnoticable amount of speed when just jumping but when you chain it you gain a boost of speed, this works by you jumping in the game and gaining a little bit of speed and right before you hit the ground and jump you keep that speed and gain more in the process. But I am not looking for that kind of stuff, I am looking for tips like I dunno a console command or something

Is there a console command that would make your crouch icon in the bottom right appear right when you land? If so that would be nice and help a lot

You just need to gitgud.
Bhop is hard on this game so you can either use a script and do TASing, or simply train more and more.

If you pick the hard way and start training, there is a bunch of stuff you should watch. Since it's already has been higthly discussed already, most of it has been shared, including youtube videos and in depth game engine explaination.
Search by yourself here or on Google, I'm too lazy to gather everything each time someone asks for tips.
