List From Easiest to Hardest Campaign

Pretty sure the entire community has a general opinion on the easiest to hardest campaign to do on Expert (for L4D2); Dead Center, Hard Rain, The Parish, Dark Carnival, and Swamp Fever. Do you agree?

(For me) Swamp Fever, Dead Center, Hard Rain, The Parish, and Dark Carnival.

I don't see Swamp Fever harder than Dark Carnival and The Parish. To me, Swamp Fever is the easiest campaign.

Well... the reason why Swamp Fever is the hardest is thet finale. The 2 Tanks can get people by suprise and the team usually doesn't go in groups of 2 to deal with each Tank.

I agree, I believe Swamp Fever is actually rather easy, if you meele mudmen, and make sure you don't shoot each other you should be able to get through it easily.

I agree, I believe Swamp Fever is actually rather easy, if you meele mudmen, and make sure you don't shoot each other you should be able to get through it easily.

The only hard part in that campaign was the crashed airplane crescendo event, besides that I'd say Dark Carnival is the hardest.

That's true, but what I do is kill the first Tank before the other shows up. After that, it will become any other Tank fight.

The Parish, Swamp Fever, Dead Center, Hard Rain, Dark Carnival

The Parish is just so... easy. Swamp Fever I don't remember anything notably hard about it. Dead Center has a few difficult bits. Hard Rain would probably be a nightmare on expert and the later chapters are hard to navigate.

And Dark Carnival solely because bloody chapter 4 kicks my *** on every difficulty.

All I know is that I would put The Passing before everything else on this list. I haven't played it in a while but my current opinion is that that finale is some BS. Also if you touch the safe room door it bugs and starts spawning 50 SI before you can even leave.

Cold Stream is the hardest.

I only play on Easy/Normal, due to just being "average" and not wanting to summon the wrath of the elite.

That said, I find Dead Center the hardest, because I have never once finished it with randoms. With friends, sure, but even then one mistake can split the duo apart and get us killed. Second hardest is probably Swamp Fever, due to there being trees and damaged buildings for smokers/spitters to "shoot" out of. Easiest is uhh... Probably The Parish, but maybe DC. I've played DC so much that Idek.

I don't know. I just do them in canical order. Even when I did them on expert. I died the most time on thw Bridge finale tho. So not Parish for me.

Parish is definitely the easiest, probably Dead Center next. Dark Carnival gauntlets are tough and Hard Rain ch2 can be difficult on realism.

Finale is only hard if you go upstairs which is always a bad idea and some idiots do and then ruin it and you leave them to die HAHAHAH

But seriously there is a corner room that is OP as hell, use it

But keep in mind, all of them can be a walk in the park with a overall good team. Cold Stream might still be tough if you can't find biles but other than that more than beatable.

My favourite is Hard Rain but that'f off-topic I guess.

I think Hard Rain should be replaced by Blood Harvest, as the only difficult level in Hard Rain for most teams is the 2nd level (due to the probalbilty of shooting a witch, the sheer amount of hordes/special infected spawn, etc).

hard rain is the hardest because people ALWAYS STARTLE THE WITCHES.
parish is the easiest because you just gotta stay on the left on the finale and thats it
