Speaking about its devastating effect: a lot of people (myself included, but I don't do that anymore) forget they have explosive ammo on, and they shoot any infected in close combat, which deals (huge) damage (on Realism Expert), and stuns the survivor as well, which may get you pinned by SI, while you're helplessly recovering (shotgun only, as I've recently found out). So just watch your fire and you'll be good.
Incendiary just lights up infected, 1 shot kills commons/special commons (not CEDA hazmats), Tank & SI start burning for 5 seconds, with exception of the Witch, 1 hit sets her on fire until she dies, which saves you a molly.
As has already been mentioned, if you set a horde on fire, your view will be reduced by all the fire, so you can occasionally get pinned by SI. If you play on low violence, however, you won't see any fire.
Because setting on fire a tank with an upgraded grenade launcher and watching him hide and wait for the fire to go off is the highest level of trolling in the game.
But seriously I like them both, incendiary ammo is my favourite for hordes and tanks as one shot will insta kill common infected and the DOT can take out a hunter or smoker if they run away before you've finished shooting them.
Explosive ammo is nice but seems rarer than incendiary rounds. Freindly fire is also kind of inevitable with it so I don't really save it unless I know there's a tricky part coming up.
Hypocrazy or just a contradiction?
- Do not shoot / damage teammates.
- Do not cause a negative environment. To troll / grief the game , A.F.K too much , A.F.K too long & ANYTHING verbal that causes players to be angry , frustrated and / or disrespect each other are things that cause negativity.
So it's simple really. Common sense is the only thing you need so I won't have to vote kick you out.
There are reasons to vote kick. Just not 1 or 2.
I don't mind freedom. But there HAS to be some control. Otherwise the trolling / griefing would be worst.
I could have left out certain details of what my expectations were.
