Lan servers are restricted to local clients (class c)

After yesterday's update , i cant connect to my server anymore ...i update everything & still same today, is it only me who got this issue or all the non official servers are down ?

Same thing happening to me! And I also get "You don't have this 3rd party mod installed" when trying to connect through steam out of game. Had zero issues up until yesterdays update!
Any helpful ideas would be appreciated.

Enter sv_lan 0 into the server console, then change the level. If that works, add +sv_lan 0 to your command line

Tried adding that Global but it doesn't work. What do you mean by "change the level"?

I have to mention one last thing when I check server info through steam it says "Valve Anti Cheat: Not Secure".....it was secure before yesterday's update.

Yeah, servers won't be secure if they're booted into LAN mode. My guess is that the update broke some third-party software? I don't actually operate a L4D2 server, so I don't know much about it, sadly.
@GRIP, I mean change level using a console command, like changelevel c1a1_pipes

Yeah same here my server is rented and fine for months before yesterday's update. I've msgd their tech support but they haven't replied since yesterday.

there might be an update function in your control panel for your server.

It was the update. I had to send a support ticket to gameservers to fix mine.

@Disco: the server wasn't showing up on the master server list yesterday. So went to control panel and saw an update from June 3rd was posted. Updated and got into this mess.
