Game crashes when returning to main menu

My game crashes consistently when returning to the main menu, whether i'm leaving mid-campaign, or after i cleared a campaign skipped the credits. I used to have this issue back then when i have 27 pages of mods, so i thought i had too much mod. So i unsubbed from everything and this time i only got what i really wanted, scrapping a lot of mods i used to have in the process, but i didn't do the trick.

Anyone got an idea on what is causing it? Or how to find out what is the culprit? I suppose i can start disabling everything and enable the mods one by one, but i want to keep that as the last resort (because damn that is tedious.) Thanks in advance.

Okay, so i actually went and disabled everything, but my main menu mod and Tumtara. Went to Tumtara, return to menu immediately and i successfully returned without crashing (previously it would crash). Went to enable 5 additional mods, went to tumtara, returned. I did that cycle until the very last mod i have, and i didn't crash at all...which is very, very confusing.

Then i restarted L4D2, went to tumtara, and then exited immediately. Crashed again. What the hell is happening here???

Finally found the culprit. Turns out it was my main menu background video being too heavy. I put MVs for my backgrounds, and 1 out of the 5 is the only one that doesn't crash me (which is the one playing when i did the mod enabling test). Compressed and optimized the videos and now i'm all good. Hope this helps anyone who is facing the same problem as me.

Mine crashes when I try to go back to the main menu when I click "Done" in the Addons menu. It only happens when I finish 1 or 2 campaigns for some reason, and the videos that I have are 175MB so I don't think it's the background menu for me...

Maybe it's the minimalistic menus mod that I have or something, idk
