How to not get kicked in versus

I am a new player and I keep getting kicked in versus, any tips to not screw up? It often happens after I save a teammate from a hunter or try reviving someone when someone spat on them. What should I do. ty

it sounds like you killed yourself in the spit to revive your teammate. I would have kicked you too. As for the hunter if you shove the hunter instead of killing it he can instantly re-pounce defeating the purpose.

I used to like vote to kick. I don't even play in VS and as much as this is a thing i wish vote to kick was removed. If people play with pugs, they waive their right to be elitist tryhards imo.

Whilst these tips won't guarantee a 100% kick immunity these are some general things that'll help your team as a survivor and hopefully reduce in no particular order (note I am not an expert or really good player just an average/at best above average one) here we go: Be aware of what your environment is I.E: are you with your team what are your team mates doing and are they currently grabbed by a special? Is this a one way? Make sure you keep up with them (do not run off to scavenge or be left behind or run ahead)and keeping an eye on them. Share the wealth! If your teammates aren't doing so great feel free to share pills or heal them if they are unable to and pick good times to heal yourself. Minimize friendly fire by crouching or making sure they don't run into your crosshair (though if they are swarmed and cannot move is better to just shoot and kill the commons off them.) Wait for spitter puddles to dissipate and use throwables smartly.

Stay with your team, try to always have line of sight to them.

- pay attention to where they are/were so that even if you aren't keeping line of sight you still know approximately what is going on around you.

-If they run, you run, if they retreat you retreat.

- Find your most aggressive/best/most kills player and stay close to them.

- have decent reflexes, if someone needs saving save them asap.

- defend yourself.

-kill as many commons as you can, keep commons off your teammates. Clear the area, just be as aggressive towards the infected as possible.

-learn how to play, i mean leveling, crowning, bunting. Rocket spawning, just every trick/high skill techniques. YouTube "hstop l4d2".

- Practice often, but don't take unnecessary risks while learning. Like don't practice lvling when failure means instant death.

- as infected just don't go in alone. Dont steal,

- your team will get infront of the survivors, then when they get close they will spawn in and attack together. If they are waiting for you to be ready, hurry up. If you are waiting for them make sure you are ready to spawn and go in the exact second they are.

If 3 si go in while 1 ♥♥♥ head si is running around who cant find a spawn point, that si is probably getting booted, especially if he then spawns alone, runs in and immediately dies.

Oh and hey, there are mods to play VS modes with AI and it's actually pretty solid. Not sure if you can get achieves that way though.

Here is the best method for not getting kicked in versus mode (100% success rate)

Step 1: Don't play versus

Step 2: Play literally any other mode. Like campaign, for instance

Step 3: ???

Step 4: Profit

Rationally, where all things are considered equally, a vote kick should only be called on someone when someone is targeting their own team mates.
Maybe they were trying to misuse the voting system in order to gain an (unfair) advantage?
