L4D2 no longer requires a cheat program (HACK).
There are too many serious cheat addons in the l4d2 workshop.

The workshop has many cheat addons that are almost identical to the current cheat program (HACK).

So, to get a sense of this seriousness, Steam Valve installed a cheat addon that was close to a hacking program, and a friend played it himself.

There is a cheat addon similar to a wall hack that makes the wall transparent even if there is a wall, and there is a cheat addon that emits fluorescent and red colors that can be seen from afar.

If you look at the video, it is not much different from HACK.

This cheat addon should not be used in the L4D2 workshop. It should be banned. This is a very serious level.

Those exist since years and years and as said upper that the reason why in 2018 addons were disabled in versus.

If you own a server you can disable/enable it in any game mode

I had aimbot on a bind for about 5 years I forgot about never banned or anything and it still works.

that was my wake up call that cheaters are going to be a problem forever for left 4 dead 2

This is a problem involving a few bad actors though. You'd have to be really low to use transparent textures and see through boomer vomit in Versus. I just use it for HD textures since the base game is really ugly

It'd be almost impossible to stop them. Even if you get rid of this exploit, it's incredibly easy to bypass VAC in an old game like this. Not to mention you have Steam Family Sharing and it goes on sale for $2 frequently.

I've dealt with the same person maybe twenty-thirty times on SFS accounts.

Depends on what mod you refer too, because there were the Radar mods that were basically cheat mods even if people might argue against that because they fed you information you weren't supposed to know such as exact distance the Tank and Witch were from you when they spawned as well as if they were on fire along with the exact distance of numerous items and you can just look at a wall as if you had wallhacks and see a molotov was on the otherside.
