what are the default graphics settings for xbox 360?

Also plenty of fps dips, and afaik some effects like fire looks like crap.

Some of the settings are actually below Low technically, you would need to delve into console commands on the client side to enforce the look

oh lord how do I get them into the cfg file lol, do I replace stuff already in the file or just dump them in? and where can I find this file

Try this. Go to your Steam folder and find this location: steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\cfg

And if it's not already there, create a text file called "autoexec.cfg", then copy and paste Mr. Orange Pony's configuration there. Unless I'm wrong, the numerical values should be in quotes. For example, host_framerate 30 should be host_framerate "30"

That should work because I believe the autoexec is executed last, so it should override any previous settings in other config files.

That's also a weird config. First they enable grain, then they disable it. Still, maybe it will give you what you want.
