[Thirdperson glitch] So I made a mistake: cam_snapto 1
Before I start, let me say: N E V E R U S E T H I S !! If you like playing in thirdperson and wanna have complete control of the aiming, don't use this, it makes the camera snaps every single time to anything in the aim that is interacteble or an enemy, it's just horrible.

...yeah, I used this command trying to follow a instruction of a mod (wich I don't have anymore) and now even if I put cam_snapto 0 in the console the camera will snap everytime to a enemy or a item, making thirdperson horrible to use.

Anyone out there know how to remove it for good?Simple ways like using the command on the developer console don't work.

Has anyone figured out a solution to disable this once you accidentally turn it on? A specific file that needs to be deleted to reset to default or something?

Alright. After doing a complete clean install, going so far as to disable my cloud saves and reactivate all my addons a few at a time, I found the issue. For me it was the 'Third Person Shotgun Sound Fix (Last Stand Update) mod on the workshop. It seems that was forcing snapto to be on permanently but only after setting it to 1 in the console. Disabling the mod got rid of the atrocious snapping.

Resubscribing unfortunately still brought it back, so the damage of having turned cam_snapto 1 on once is still there, but only in the form of no longer being able to use the shotgun sound fix. At least the camera looks normal again and doesn't snap anymore.

Could be you still need to do a clean install as well, but it seems like it was entirely the thirdperson shotgun sound fix that's the culprit, or at least what forces snapto to be 1 now. When it's on it snaps, when it's off it doesn't.
