Way to create a more than 4 players lobby?

Hi, I know this question is asked for a good amount of times, but can someone give me detailed instructions to create a bigger lobby in the current game version?

There is a 8 player lobby mod in workshop but you need a dedicated server to support more than 4 players for it to work

False, you don't need dedicated server. You can just local host. But it requires that you install SourceMod and related plugins, which is PITA if you never did anything like that.

True, but it's less painful to go through dedicated server in my opinion especially you can leave it running even tho you're not playing

One problem with dedicated server I have is the fact that you need public IP address for others to join. I'd say most people do not have it and are hidden behind NAT. When hosting local server, Steam provides relay that ensures others can join your server.
