really just captures the short burst of hope that your "finally getting away from the zombie outbrake"
and the dread of that rush of commons,s special infected and tank comeing to stop you at all costs
sits as my favourite soundtrack just due to how it captures the emotion perfectly for the situation given at hand
goes so well with the horror experience l4d provides and is just a good soundtrack overall
i never liked the l4d2 version the same just because it dosnt give the same sort of feel that the l4d1 version gives
l4d2: gascan of victory (legit is just a part of the tanks theme)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZK5hhcEsaXs
short catchy tune that goes well with the last chance for a comeback that it provides for scavenge which in general is one of the most underated modes in this game
and for a proper soundtrack: one bad tank (plays in dark carnival 2nd tank)

i do prefare the metalized tank theme that you can get in the last stand but just like the campaign its made by the community and is not offical
i kinda prefare the hard rains version
https://youtu.be/CS-n_zBlCcw
but there just as good as eachother
something i will say alot about l4d2 is that it kinda just pushed away from the horror experience than embraseing it like l4d1 did
https://youtu.be/xDbIDKel-O4
l4d2 has its hard drum beat and its variation of the backtrack to give a hyped up kick ass theme
while l4d1 has its more dread and pressure on the player (which the horde is suppost to provide)
maybe tls update changed it a bit but it never really played the same in l4d2
but none the less they did a great job with the l4d2 version's
