How to enable controller icons on hud?

The recent update says it disabled controller icons on the hud by default. Testing with a PS5 controller, that is true. Is there a way to enable them again?

I'm wondering the same thing. The update says the hud is off by default, kinda implies there's a way to turn it back on. But I dont see any menu options.

i think there was a launch parameter for it. -gamepadui or something.

This is the new Cvar used to draw the new controller glyphs on the HUD.

sc_draw_inv_slot_glyphs 1

I believe you'll need to make sure your controller is enabled in the settings in order to see the glyphs.

From your Steam Library click Steam > Settings > Controller > General Controller Settings. Then ensure your controller type is checked, for example I have a Xbox One controller so I enabled the Xbox Configuration Support checkbox.

@Aisling - You'll want to make sure Playstation Configuration Support is enabled.
