How to play Custom Maps with Friends?

I want to play Yamma, Suicide Blitz 2, or Splash mountain, but it seems only the host gets in the match

You both have to have the same version of the map. Example if you have version 1.3 and your friend got 1.0 you and them can't play till your friend updates his map.

We are both using the workshop addons for the maps

Some of those maps come in multiple parts, so make sure you've both downloaded every part or it won't work.

Sometimes if you have custom skins for zombies and people playing with you don't have them, they can't join. Either disable them while hosting or get everyone to install them

Version of the map is legit. If there is a difference between the Hosts version of the map and the other players trying to connect then it's not going to happen.

sv_consistency 0 is working for my playgroup as well. Highly recommend; thanks for this solution.
