how to open console

First,Check if its enabled in the options

Its so little thing and you create a whole topic about that??? Really?? Why you wont spend few minutes to exlore ingame options or use google? About that trifle present many posts in internet. Horrible laziness!

No bro I am check all in internet and my setting l4d2 I'm open and setting all taught in youtube and google but I can't. So I came here for advice because I did everything but I couldn't open the console.

No bro I am chacked all in internet and my setting l4d2 I'm open and setting all taught in youtube and google but I can't. So I came here for advice because I did everything but I couldn't open the console.

Do you turned on the developer console in the keyboard and mouse settings?

Try to set +con_enable 1 -console in game launch parameter.

[ᴿᴱᴻᴱ™]

When you follow these steps, it will ALWAYS work:

1. Create a bind in your autoexec.cfg or config.cfg

bind "F9" "toggleconsole" 

2. Enable console access by throwing this to your config

con_enable "1" 

3. Add following to your game launch parameters

-console

4. When you start the game, the console will pop up automaticly. When you are in the main menu and the console does not show up by pressing F9, hover over any menu entry and hit F9 again.
