Is versus always toxic ?

even a small mistakes could lead you to getting kicked, I mean this game has no ranking system or anything ( that force you to play seriously ) so why must being rude to a new player ? for ♥♥♥♥'s sake.

back when TSL doesnt exist, there was not many toxic players out there, but now? oh boy theres already wannabe toxic players counting, and some tryhard newbies who thinks they're good at the game for a good 3 hours

Any team-based multiplayer game, if it's not a 15-minute deathmatch shootout in Call of Duty, or an MMO where you are your own boss, creates stress between participants who want to win.

Always? Yes. I've had games where I lead the team every round in terms of damage, but the one round I fall behind in I get kicked. This game makes people rage. You can still find good people, add them, and play with them instead of randos.

the fact it dosnt have a ranking system is one of the biggest issues

while an MMR isnt really a goo idea for l4d2 for a game like l4d2 it leads to players thats played for years and know everything with there 4k hours vs an player with 2 hours in the game

and when your agenst players being pubstompers and your makeing every mistake possible in a team game like l4d

it dosnt end well

people get mad because your minor mistakes cost them the game (they quickly add up) and there teamates dont work together makeing winning imposible

while im agenst kicking new players but if they dont know the map or they just make so meany mistakes that its just killing the team directly i feel like i have no choice

your minor mistakes you claim add up really damn fast

we kinda do we started off as noobs aswell and honistly if your new to versus and havent played the game much you get kicked ALOT for some of the dumb mistakes you made

while this game is pure casual versus with the requirement of really good co-ordination etc rather competitive due to the ammount of mistakes you can make quickly adds up to the teams death

and then you find yourself kicking new players for the exact same yeason your getting kicked

too meany mistakes killing the team

I just default to treating Versus as a meme and I play just decently enough but don't try hard it and go with the flow.

Once I see everyone in the lobby is actually trying hard but without any obvious signs of toxic behaviour, I will gladly try my best, I love even matches. Everything else is boring...

You haven’t played lot of game to understand it.

Versus has allways been a toxic gamemode due to the ammount of imbalenced teams and how much your teams co-ordination matters and when your new to the game its way off and you dont know the common ♥♥♥♥ to do so people get quickly pissed and kick

and when there winning (when they normally dont) they just rub it into everyones faces like it actually matters

VS players are like 90% toxic (before and after TLS update) due to this issue
