I do agree that it should be fixed but I don’t think the TLS team can patch it but I’m sure they can poke valve to fix it.
For time being at least try to remain respectful as I know if I was told it was friends only I’d gladly leave without griefing.
Respectfully agree. I asked Tsuey about this but the server browser is out of scope apparently. He mentioned working on mutation UI would be easier and better since it's a jumbled mess.
Private/Friends-only game dont actually filter anything, it just "hide" your game from non-friends, it don't prevent them from joining.
Block system actually works, for a while, the matchmaking system goes down everyday, once its down, all running games goes "unreserved".
Once unreserved the game wont be listed anymore on the game UI, and block system will cease to function.
Theres a trick to make private/friends game to work, but you need to host your own server, just add -nomaster to command line parameters, and you game wont be listed on the openserverbrowser.
They can still ping your server and check its status if they know the IP though, but it is unlikely.
