How can I host Official Dedicated servers while playing on a Custom Campaign?

Without it being turned into a custom server. Because whenever I try running a non Official campaign game on Official Dedicated, it won't work and will suggest that I do a "Best Available Dedicated". However when I do that, it will just load Dark Carnival instead.

there is no custom campaign on official, either you go on dedicated either local server

Offical campaigns are valve servers And they do not support custom campaigns in any way

you need a best avalible (hopefully a custom server with no mods except the custom campaign you want to play)

Or to local host the campaign

Heres what you do.

Start your own server, don't put any mods on it other than the campaigns you want to play. Then join it.

Official servers are exactly the same as third party servers, the only difference is third party servers typically get sourcemod added and any other mods the individual owner wants.

Can you help me with some server configs? Whenever I load this map on my dedicated server the textures wont load (buggy pink and black squares all over the map). :(

Ive never experienced that before. Try unsubscribing, deleting the map(if it didn't automatically) then resubscribe.
