This. Or, it only takes four melee hits to kill a witch. Launch hard rain, have all of your teammates grab melee weapons, and just coordinate your attack so that everyone attacks the witch all at once.

Honestly, you might need to coordinate that with only one other person, since the standing witch has a pretty long delay before she begins attacking the player who startled her.

I didn't assume that at all. You can coordinate this somewhat simply through text chat.

There's almost a chance for a chainsaw to spawn near the safe room. Grab it and kill the witch from behind. This method worked for me since Chainsaw Massacre and Four Swordsmen mutations seem ineffective.

Just look at fact #3. You hit her twice, then go away from her. If she doesn't try to swing at you then you've probably already failed. After she swings, go back to her and swing at her again and then one more.

That or you just get a friend and hit her at the same time so she can't react.

the best way to do it is to use any melee weapon except axe (slow attacking speed),
once you startle the witch on the first hit, jump as she attacks you to dodge her claws, then carry on to attack her 3 more times (if you don't stop attacking her, she will perish before she can claw you again), and then you get it! My best advice is to practice melee killing witches in witch execution

Indeed. I killed a random Wandering Witch with a sword and another player from my team unlocked this achievement. I'm glad I could help a player but I still don't understand how this achievement works. I thought the player who needs this achievement must kill the witch without any help from the other teammates (either gun shoots or melee attacks).

just headshot her with a sniper rifle while she is crying

this will stun her and you got time to run up to her and shove

then just slash, shove. slash, shove until she dies

killing a witch with a melee unlocks for everyone who's on the team so it makes the achievement a bit easier

It won't work. Once you shot the witch with a gun, it won't count for the achievement. She must be killed with 4 melee hits.

Throw pipe bomb, shove, slash, shove, slash, shove, slash. Repeat until she is dead
