There is no way, they're trolls. I leave then just block anyone that was on that server. You'd think Valve or steam would do something about it after all these years and countless complaints.

aw that sucks. I don't wanna resort to blocking except for cheaters I guess I'll just have to endure them.

Grief their server or just use their report function and report it on yourself to get banned

You won't come across them unless you play on their server first and then choose quick match for versus mode.

Because you need to actively queue quickplay versus, but you rarely play it so you never seen it before

Versus or not, I don’t use quickplay function. I just make my own room and then start and people join...
