If you're good in levelling and cutting, you should be good to go because of lerps. Offical Valve servers are 30 tick (I think) so there's always a delay in levelling / cutting, whereas these servers are on 100 tick (again I think) and using lerps so it feels like you're playing on local servers with almost no lags. Dead stopping hunters and jockeys wasn't this good before on official servers - you'll feel the difference for sure.
As for getting killed, will get good. Skeet those hunters in one shot!
Aren't you deaf? If you get focused on they probably see that you don't have any awareness. skill floor is a lot higher in the competitive scene.
You can contact 3ybx. Or try L4DNation or the L4D2 reddit.
Would be ez to get coached if you're a girl.
Well I usually wear hearing aid and I’m very aware of my surroundings. Problem is, it happen so fast that sometime I don’t have time to process the attack. I’m a pubbie, so I’m used to playing against average players that have a coordination of a headless cockroach
And we have newbies here who jump straight into pub versus and think it's ok to fool around, do nothing because they have also purchased the game too...
Not even gonna debate on 'real' competitive scene because same newbies don't even know it exists and / or how to connect there. (And not wanting to derail the topic here too, so I'll stop my rant here.)
that was exactly my point
turtle rock studios is gonna make back 4 blood soon and L4D2 will die off
I think not.
B4B hype is a joke

If you tend to be someone like me who leads in front of the team with a shotgun, maybe change your role to be an SMG in the back who clears your team, it tends to be an easier role and you’ll find yourself not getting hit by the brunt of the hit as often.
If you don’t lead and just tend to get hit anyways, you might just want to work on your awareness overall. When the hit is up, focus on where they can be spawning.
Remember, Left 4 Dead 2 is a team game. If you don’t have a good team you may find that you are getting hit a lot. Especially someone like me who leads in front 100% of the time, your team may just not be capable to clear you fast enough and intern you’re taking a lot of damage that you otherwise wouldn’t be taking with a good team.
Hope this helps.
