Golden Freeman Not Tracking Progress Correctly

Title. I've played all l4d1 survival maps repeatedly with the golden crowbar and after a while they stopped tracking. It says I have four left even though I had already picked them up and gotten bronze with them. Does anybody know a fix? Any help would be nice. :)

I know. I watched a walkthrough and a guide and repeated those. It just isn't counting them as found for some reason, even though I have found all of them. It happened yesterday where I got stuck on 2 for a while but a few minutes later the thing actually updated to show the other 5 I had gotten. I'm assuming I just have to wait for it to refresh so it can track correctly, no big deal.

Did you people let the game finish by dying to the horde or you just quit it?

I got this achievement last night following Vytlo's guide. I did it in single player survival, and without ever starting the clock. I used call a vote to change to the next map. I periodically checked the achievement counter in the menu every few maps, and it seemed to track correctly. The achievement triggered as soon as I grabbed the last crowbar in the lighthouse.

I have. I even said that I had waited until I had gotten bronze on each of the maps with the crowbar too. I'm reloading the game right now to see if it's fixed. Will update later.

I found the 22, and my progress never increased, it didn’t matter if I played the survival wave or not, I got nothing from it, a friend had the same problem if finding the gold crowbars and getting no progress from it

Same here. Just started, following a youtube video, playing on survival, picked the crowbars. Even waited and started the round to get some kills with golden crowbars, but the counter doesnt increase. It shows 2 dispite me having all four in no mercy survival levels.

you all have to do it on local server for it to work

Single player is a local server.

i did single player and it worked, valve servers suck at tracking.

to get the golden freeman achevement you have to do it on local / singleplayer if your on local with a freind then the acheve only goes to you

(hope this gets fixed soon)

Trying playing on local server instead of official dedicated. Fixed it for me

no its not, you can make a room with friends on local server and do it anyways

yo so i got it fixed by simply just turning off l4d2 since i had opened up an sv_cheats 1 server and it just shuts off all tracking in the game entirely which is kinda weird
