Valve games are really well optimized

So I have a crappy pc (Well I used to have, I now have 16 ram and a GTX 950 GPU) and the game still runs on ultra fine and stuff, valve put a crap ton of time into making these games well optimized, like CS:GO the requirements are a joke ( You can literally run CS:GO on a 25 dollar pc with 50 frames) yet the game looks stunning and is really enjoyable.

You must be lucky then. Because I have a pretty current P.C. & I have some settings only to medium in the options. Anything higher is not playable.

Now let's talk software. The game itself. Bad hit boxes , bad hit register & bad tick rates all make for a pretty sub - standard game I.M.O. Maybe I have played this game too long and / or my expectations are too high. But I know when I see , hear & experience a product that is near garbage. Well optimized ?? !! I sure as fuq don't see it in L4D 2.

its not that well optmized, just an old game and that hardware meets the recommended requirements

Really? it ran on my 2gb pc with intel r graphics and a 20 pound i3 processor in meduim settings at 50-60 frames.

A game running @ 50 - 60 frames means nothing if the game itself is poor. Like I said earlier. Bad hitboxes , bad hit register & bad tick rates make for REALLY frustrating moments. I don't like it when I KNOW I stopped a Hunter pounce & the game did NOT count it. I heard the audio & witnessed the physical right - click shove contact the Hunter. But the game did NOT count it. & that is only the Hunter. Don't get me started on the other special infected and / or the common infected. Talk about the good frame rates and / or how good the game looks from a good G.P.U all you want. The game itself is poorly optimized in regards on how it behaves.

You cant shove back hunters, you have little expirience with the game.

I have just over 4800 hours. You ONLY have 22. Little experience ? Might want to look at the simple math there shethead.

& yes you can stop Hunters while they are in mid - air trying to pounce you. It's called a " Dead Stop ". Most experienced people ( including myself ) know about this. You do not.

Proud about VAC ban? I know some cases where simply wrong but I wouldnt be proud to have a ban on record which I couldnt deny.

Does not bother me anyways because :

- I have other Steam accounts with other games.
- The other Steam accounts do NOT have V.A.C bans. Just this one.
- I have enough friends on all my accounts. Don't need more I.M.O
- I have done trades before with this account.

I have a lot of hours too and I agree with you on the whole hitbox bs. The game indeed has bugs that can be annoying at times.
