Just got kicked from my own game, how?

I was hosting a game locally with a friend (not a friends only game), we were playing through the 3rd map in Swamp Fever and I got a message saying I had been kicked from session. How do you even get a disconnect when you are the host?

Hey there's a couple confirmed exploits going around. The information in this thread may help you: major expliot discovered/cheat.

I forgot to mention I had - tickrate 60 enabled in the launch options. I turned it off just now and I've also now decided to disable rcon in the autoexec.cfg file. Maybe these will help, who knows. I also had a hang between maps a couple of days prior. Also I've been experiencing a bug where the console won't accept input, it just auto closes when you type into it. When I try to type exit into it I get that e with the dots above it, then when i delete the weird e I can type normally again. Weird thing is, the console bug only occurs in game not when I am using it from the main menu.

I validated the file and 2 files were downloaded but it hasn't fixed the problem. It feels like someone has been screwing with the game code. I have tried disabling all of my addons and removing my autoexec.cfg file and I still have the console bug problem. I'll keep looking into it.

I doubt it had anything to do with launch options etc.. i play on default settings and it happened again today

Had the same thing happen twice when hosting local server. Did you have Admin System installed at the time?

Yeah, I'm going to try completely uninstalling the game and start it with vanilla settings. Can you check you developer console for me and see if typing into it functions normally. This would help help me at least eliminate that bug from the list of possible causes.

@ReeG: I use some components of Admin System but not enough to be able to use any SA commands. Just enough to get my mod functioning like the VSLibs and a few other odd bits.
