Of course there are a lot mods in workshop that can help you, since bots are damn awfull and it's not really fair for a beginer to play solo expert.
Here is a list of mods that can help you:
-General improvements (simple)
-Double ammo in all weapons
-Admin system
-Throwable bots (or something like that) it gives the ability to bots to pick up grenades
-Crazy weapon mod
There is a possibility that these mods will conflict with each other so you maybe need to choose just one of them.
I would suggest you "double ammo in all weapons" or "crazy weapon mod" if you want to end it fast cuz it doesn't only give you 2x bullets, but higher dmg aswell.
Another mod is "m60 reload scripts".
You can use the admin system to type the command "give rifle_m60" from the first map and its just too easy.
NOTE: You need to reload m60 before you run out of ammo cuz the game will automatically drop it from your hand.
I hope that helped.
I would never do expert solo and I avoid mods unless they are cosmetic. Just find it dumb that you have to either use console which I do not use at all, mods, or have another player babysit your game.
5-10 min break should be possible and it is so painfull to know that a disconnect means having to redo it all for that player.
Sorry but, I have no use for your advice although I appreciate it :)
Next campaign one player less, we reach 4 th stage then another payer has to go. We play the finale and just manage to die at the end on our second attempt. Friend has to go and I decide to finish last one solo.
I have to go to the toilet, when I get back I have been returned to menu due to inactivity.
No I do not blame the toilet, I blame the game.
If you lose all your progress due to inability to play the game and skill level is neglectable. It is just bad game design.
They are not all cheaty like "double ammo in all weapons".Throwable bots and general improvements are mods that improves the gameplay.
I suggested them cuz I find it ridiculous to just start all over again, when you already have reached the finale.
Also you are not a veteran so chill, its not so bad to use some cheaty mods to get a freaking achievement just because you lost the chance cuz of a weird server.
In my opinion the dumb thing here is to play again all 5 maps on expert because of a bad moment.
About the "bad game design", you could mention other things but this....meh.
It's an achievment you know, they are not all easy achievements...Some of them needs time.
The solution is to host a local server to avoid weird custom servers.
Also you can take a break there is even an option for that just press escape (you need to have at least 2 players in the game).
Well If each of my friends would have to host a campaign on expert and clear it as a crash or disconnect makes them lose all progress as there is no option to rejoin and keep progress, it would take a lot of extra time due to game being problematic.
Played on local server first, but everytime after reaching the next mission two of my friends would be stuck on loading screen and unable to join.
It woild still not have mattered as I was alone in the end.
In the end you really get what I am saying. Me and my friends are no pro players. We can enjoy and beat the campaigns. In the end the issue is how the game works with servers, crashes and bugs etc.
The gameplay itself is great.
While I will not get the achievement I can atleast replay the finale solo and beat it.
Get the achievement later when I can play with all my friends again. :)
Damn how much time are you om that toilet xd
The other comment was a joke lol
In csgo and Left 4 Dead 2 if you are afk 5 /10 min you disconnect
Single player or local game won't disconnect you (duh). If you play on a dedicated server, the server could disconnect you for being idle too long. It has always been like this, from the days of Quake 1. It's to prevent players from trolling the server, and staying idle all day long, while the other players have no possible way to kick them.
