Free up diskspace by deleting crash logs

Left4Dead2 saves logs when it crashes. It's not exactly a stable game for many reasons. Therefore, you may find quite a bit of *.mdmp files like:

left4dead2_crash_20190122012211_1.mdmp

..in the game's install folder, usually:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\

Thought I'd point out that these never seem to get cleaned out. If you play the game a lot, and therefore naturally crash a lot, and have had the installation for a few years (I had crash logs dating back over 2 years), you may be surprised to find how many there are and how much space they're taking up.

Of course, results hardly compare to cleaning out the plethora of garbage stored in C:\Users\myself\AppData, but it could lighten your SSD a few precious gigs.

It crashes frequently for lots of people. Not much in campaign mode, but versus is a different matter, especially if you spawn near trees etc. Try spawning as charger behind trees on first hill in Cold Stream a few times, odds are you'll crash straight to desktop (the first map is well known for this).

I've played this for several thousand hours now, so I can say it's definitely not just my end, though it would appear some graphics drivers and systems are more prone than others.

The only one I have lying around now seems to be 24 megs. So it will take a years old installation and lots of (probably versus) play to amount to something :)

Welp, hardly ever played anything other than campaign and I own it since 2013. Also searched for *.mdmp files in my L4D2 folder and... nothing.
