Sprays on workshop not working

I'm not saying that ALL the sprays aren't working, its just that when I subscribed to the sprays and pressing t in the game to spray none of the sprays that I subscirbed did not show up in some list thing (I saw some spray paint reviews with other sprays in a spray listing) and I was wondering how to put in the subscribed sprays into the game because I keep on getting the defualt target spray. I do have the the sprays checkmarked on the add-ons I don't know what is the problem hopefully the sprays I subscribed are wroking and I guess that there is something I need to do in order to have the sprays that I subscribed work.

Try moving them from the workshop folder to the addons folder only downside is it won't update when the maker of the mod updates it. Be sure to unsub after you move the vpk or else it will redownload and cause a conflict.

I opened my local files for l4d2 and you said you wanted me to put the workshop folder to the addons folder but I can't find the workshop folder. Also do you want me to put the worksop folder in the addons folder?

hold on i think i found it but im confused u want to get the spray files from the workshop folder and put in the addons folder? But here is the thing i can't tell which file is it because all it says are numbers

No. Move the vpk file to the add-ons folder. You can find the workshop folder inside the add on folder. The add on folder is in the l4d2 install folder. Usually c:\Program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 dead 2 in there look for the add on folder inside there is a workshop folder. Inside that workshop folder is your vpks from the workshop find the vpk of the spray you want to use right click it chose cut then go back one folder to the addons folder and right click an empty space and chose paste. Then run the game and see if it is checked marked in the add on list in game. Make sure nothing is in red as red means a conflict.

You can also use photoshop and save the image as a .tga (targa file).

Kinda late, but I don’t have a vpk file
