Play with L4D 1 + 2 survivors?

Is there anyway to mix the two survivor groups in a single campaing? Say... like replacing Rochelle with Bill or Francis? I'm not talking about increasing the survivor group, just swaping a survivor from 2 with another one from 1.

Yup, I've googled, browsed the workshop and failed to find anything like this. The closest thing was to use L4D 1 survivors on L4D 2 campaings. But not mixing them... Am I missing something?

There are Sourcemod plugins for that (server side)

You need to open server browser and look for custom 8x8 games, there are many. Personally nowadays I hardly even play vanilla cuz 8x8 is way more fun.

Here the mods of the gamemaps made by "Bilmando". You will have to download it manually, which is something easy.

-Downloads and you select the second or third (not the first).
-Wait for 3 seconds, you continue and wait for the download of the mod (you will need the winrar to extract it).
-And then you extract the vpk mod so the location of the addon folder.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\addons

And with that you will have the mixed survivors. Or if you have sourcemod and you know how to install plugins, here one:
