Will World War Z replaces L4D2 as a Zombie Horde Shooter ??

(Before i start i know most of you going to say why you talking about WWZ on the L4D2 discussion, I want to hear your guys own opinions about the WWZ vs L4D debucle that been happening this week)

I feel like a lot of journalist and some well known reviewers these days keep calling WWZ as a replacement for L4D

But to be honest WWZ doesn't have the uniqueness of Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2 has

I already tried WWZ on my friends PC (Cause i don't want to download EGS cause F Epic)
Its pretty bad (I know its early access but hear me out)

Reasons why i called it bad due of the lack of original ideas of the special infected on they're games. Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2 Specials are unique and memoriable due of the clutch wrenching moments from years of Left 4 Dead experience especially our big meatty boy The Tank.

Another thing that need to be discuss is the gunplay i feel L4D still has better gunplay than WWZ cause on that game it feels like a peashooter like no joke

Left 4 Dead series characters are really charming and memoriable due of the humors and funny voices they made while WWZ is trying to be like a wannabe soldier, I don't hate this tbh but it doesn't have that spark that i want to remember them is just poof gone like that.

PvP on the other hand is still fun on Left 4 Dead even though most Versus player now are really competitive depending on that time where its all about having fun, WWZ PvP is just a blatant The Division feelish PvP which is a bit dissapointing

The hardest difficulty on Left 4 Dead series are still challenging rather than WWZ Insane is a bit forgiving with One Down mechanic and more damage on the first initial hit from the Specials

CONCLUSION:
Left 4 Dead series will still going to be the best Coop Zombie horde shooter (Back 4 Blood is on the works by Turtle Rock so it would replace this in the future)

This is my own opinions, I want to hear your guys opinions on the comment section

I literally just gave an example of a game that had half the SI from L4D half a decade before L4D :D.

Anyway yeah, L4D's special infected really weren't new. There was two unique things about L4D on release, one was that you could actually play the specials and the other was the "you can't help yourself" mechanic.

I didnt notice.
There are still Charger, jockey, tank, witch, smoker.
Also l4d's screamer was never being introduced into the game so you cant say they copy paste it.

Now can you answer me if you have played wwz? You keep avoiding this question.

It seems like you're asking me to find things from other zombie games that are perfect matches for all of the other SI, which is silly as the point was that special infected as a concept are nothing special.

(Though I should point out, probably doable to find similar things. For instance Stubb's hand power is the jockey :D)

Want the game early by a week? Buggy as ♥♥♥♥ and not QA ready? EA AAA is for you.
You work for them and you pay them, perfect!
Just look at every AAA game released in 'EA,' and if having a hard time, look at the recent releases of Fallout 76, Blades, and Anthem.
You really believe they didn't know and don't know their games aren't done? And jack them full of stores to boot 'pre-release'?
What I mean basically is, not much is going to change, you have an earlier copy, I'll wait with the industry track record and let the less shoppy type of consumers pave the way to cheap sales for me.

And finally, comparing modding games and non-moddable games is a no-brainer. The modding game always wins out.
So it's not fair. However, truth be told, this is why valve can muddle things up and still be a success. They, like the ♥♥♥♥-storm that is Bethesda, give players the power to create and change what they don't like about their visions.
Sadly WWZ will never have modding tools, ever. It's like shooting your dlc gift-horse in the mouth.
Why pay for dlc if you can make it yourself?

In the end, take the game as it is, as there are still people who play L4D base campaigns and never touch mods and they still enjoy L4D.

WWZ is fun imho, but it's a different game. Anyhoo, these are our thoughts, experience your own.

Hadn't even heard of it until this post, it looks interesting though. I don't think games really replace each other though unless they are the next game in a series (so a left 4 dead 3 would more likely be a replacement). It might take some players, or it might actually add more players here if it introduces new people to the zombie horde genre of games :)
