There are work arounds but they all work like hot garbage.
That's all there is
you either should use previous version of MacOS, or create additional partition and install old MacOS + Steam here - just for those games. I am not aware of any other solutions, but might be there is something out there...

It should've been 1. Honestly, who in their right mind would want to buy a mac? Expensive prices, faulty all the time, weird ass naming choices (Catalina, i mean WTF? is it that crazy girl from GTA SA?), carbon copy designs, some games don't run, ect. It makes Valve look good in comparison, I mean jesus christ...
People buy macs to pretend they are rich, but everybody else thinks they are stupid because they know what a mac is, a pile of rubbish!
