Xbox one Controller

Can i play the game with my controller? If so, how can I? Cause can't find the way, thanks :)

Plug it in using a usb, in game go into keyboard settings and enable gamepad. I'd reccommend rebinding the chat keys as when you use a controller most keyboard binds unbind.

I already plug in the controller, and enable the gamepad, but still cant use it, :( what am I missing?

You're probably missing the proper drivers for the controller. Link to support page [support.xbox.com].

But i can use it on Dead by Daylight, and some other games, there most be something else missing

Just to get throught the simplest thing, keep in mind the controller needs to be plugged in and on before you start l4d2, or it won't work.

Update: the controllers both register in steam big picture mode, but im just a dumbass and dont know how to do splitscsreen and havent had time, so i hope this helps...

for me i just had to plug in a controller then wait for a couple seconds before i loaded up the game and it let me use it hope this helps
