need a config file for low end pc.

so my pc cant get 10fps playing with all the configs on low. i was having this problems with team fortress 2(another game from valve) and i downloaded a cfg from the internet and put some comands on launcher, like the game run on direct 8 instead of 9. the game run very well. i wonder if something similar exists for left 4 dead 2?

errrr, why you put rio de janeiro in that post? is that relevant somehow?
anyway gonna try puting the same configs in the launcher.

to the other two, if you not gonna help, then dont join my thread. i had a pretty good notebook until 2 months ago, but the motherboard is with issues, and im having trouble to find a replacement part to buy here in brazil. i found in ebay but they dont send it to here. im using this 2011 notebook.

anyway, l4d2 and tf2 are made in the same engine. if i could get a custom cfg for tf2 and it run almost flawless, so it surprise me thats theres no thing like that(at least i didnt found it yet) for l4d2.

OP, put your resolution to 640x480.

my old laptop made in 2006 can run this game fine in 35-60 fps. even in those times it was counted as "mid tier" laptop. I do use my special "low end" addon for it however.

I play on a Gigabyte brix a5557 lol. Posting what system you have might help a bit. Back in the day I used to run l4d1 on a amd 64 2800+ single core with a 7600gs (silent) that I put a fan on. Oc'ed everything to death and tested config after config etc. You have the will you will find a way :). But posting the system might be able to help a bit more.
