Are the L4D2 Survivors really Carriers?

So as we know by now, the original 4 Survivors were Carriers of the "Green Flu" and anyone who isn't Infected already, Immune or a Carrier themselves will become infect and turn when in contact with the Carrier. And looking at how suprisingly quick the infection spreads in just a few weeks. The infection from Carrier to a Non-Infectee is actually quick. But what about the L4D2 survivors? Now most people after reading The Sacrifice can assume pretty quickly that these 4 are Carriers as well. But I think that may not be true. And my answer lays with the Faceless Boat Man who our survivors have stayed with for a long while, Virgil. First seen at the end of Swamp Fever, at the beginning of Hard Rain and end and the start of Parish. We have no confirmination if Virgil himself is also a Carrier or Immune but for the sake of this Theory, we can say that he is neither but instead say that maybe that Nick, Rochelle, Coach and Ellis are indeed Immune. If they WERE Carriers then I can estimate that Virgil would have turned Half Way through the Hard Rain story. So maybe when the survivors were saved from the Evac from Parish. Instead of ending up in a simular scenario to the original survivors who would have been tested then destroyed. However there is only one other thing to counter my entire theory. Who remembers the beginning of Swamp Fever with the whole Mongling about Shooting and Infected Pilot. This means that Virgil himself is a Carrier or Immune meaning the others did infect that Pilot or that Pilot WAS in fact bitten as Nick said.

Well it is canonically and officially confirmed by Valve and their l4d1 comic that the original survivors were indeed carriers. But we don't really know for certain if the l4d2 survivors are, so we can only speculate and assume that they are.

Well the fact that in The Parish if Coach answers the radio he says that they're covered in blood,bile,fluid and all other kind of ♥♥♥♥ and are still humans so i do think that alone should shed a bit of light that they are immune and are carriers especailly when the line after from the soldier is if the evac chopper is equipped for carriers.
