Can't look around
I'm having an issue where I can't look around using the mouse, I can move, shoot and attack, I'm only unable to rotate the camera or move around. It works in other games apart from Portal 2 where I can't look up or around with the mouse. Help?

Have you tried another mouse? If you're using a laptop, what about the mousepad?

I don't have another mouse to use and my laptop trackpad doesnt work

Can you use the keyboard to rotate? Or if you have a controller, give it a try.

Have you installed the correct driver for your mouse? Try to update or reverse it.

What is a mouse driver (I'm not a tech expert)? It works in other games so I'm not sure what's wrong.

Anyway, you can try the following:

1) Within the game, go to Options > Keyboard & Mouse > Edit Keys/Button then "Use defaults". See if that changes a thing.

2) Disable Steam overlay: Steam > Settings > In-Game > Uncheck "Enable the Steam Overlay while in-game".

Setting the controls to default makes nothing work so I had to reset all the controls. I can't get access to my settings as I need an admin passcode which I don't know. Also I am playing on a macbook if that helps.

Joke apart, this doesn't help.

Try this: within the game, Options > Keyboard & Mouse > Disable "Raw mouse input".

Try when turning it on/off.

Also disable multicore-rendering in Options > Video > Advanced settings.
