L4D2: Xbox 360 VS PC Steam

I saw gameplay footage of the 360 port of this game, and my god, it looks probably even worse than potatoes. Seriously, it looks like the console version is equivalent to the PC version at low to medium video settings! I noticed that the resolution, shader, and textures are far worse than the PC version. Do you know what else is inferior in teh Xbox 360 port?

The fact that you have to play it with a controller.
Also the fact that you have to buy most content PC got for free like Cold Stream, L4D1 maps, etc.
Also the fact that the community on Xbox Live is just awful at this game.
Think like when its a free weekend but x2 and they've had the game for longer than a quick download-and-try.

I have 1500 gamerscore in both games on the 360. Yeah looking back, the graphics are quite bad nowadays because the PC version runs really smooth. I'd say that the graphics in the 360 version are of the quality of a low range PC. If you look at the fire in Dead Center you will see a huge difference in quality. I run my 360 in HD on a 32 inch Sony TV so it's definitely not on my end. At the end of the day, the gameplay is identical and whatever gets people into the game. The reason that I bought the Steam version was for the custom stuff and because I was only paying Xbox Live Gold to play one game online only and that was Left 4 Dead 2.

The dlc in both games were expensive, yes I actually had to pay for Crash Course, isn't that crazy ? I bought The Sacrifice twice in both games and I bought Cold Stream and The Passing. I couldn't believe that they were free on PC and yet it doesn't surprise me because Microsoft are greedy idiots anyway (Look at E3 2013 where they lost tons of customers and the Ceo himself was fired and replaced)

I prefer the communication, the great community, the graphics and the amazing custom PC only maps on the Steam version of this game. I don't even look at the console version of this game anymore.

The Xbox community for this game isn't as strong as the Steam version because most of my Xbox friends are on the One playing Call of Duty remastered, Halo, etc. All of that is boring to me. On the Xbox version all I ever played with were randoms.

There should be a saying that once you go PC you never go back lol because I love the community so much that I plan on buying more Steam games. I use my 360 as a TV app system nowadays.

Yeah once you move on from consoles to PC, it's really hard to go back because the hardware, graphics, online, controls, and other stuff are superior. The only way in which PC is inferior to consoles are the constant bugs in games and the fact that you always have to pay so much to constantly upgrade.

Well, in terms of bugs, you could argue the 360 version is superior because with consoles and mobile devices, the major companies force developers to go through a long process to ensure that gamers don't encounter almost any bugs when playing.

They both play the same.
The main differences are the mods on PC and buying the DLC on Xbox 360.
I have worse times with the PC community.
I never did mind using a controller or 30FPS.

Actually I render it at 1080p 60 fps. Why do you ask? Of course, there's a constant flux in fps just like my friend Golden ♥♥♥ Fart.

Yeah kiddos, you probably dont even know that an xbox 360 as 512 mb of ram, less than your pc
