I have been a fan of Left 4 Dead 2 since I've been 11 years old. I can't bear to see this game die. I can't even find any new maps made.

I disagree, I still play this game regularly even thought I'm a new player. I don't think it's dying, it's the classic zombie shooter game. It's that game you go to when you want to shoot zombies on PC. It's become a classic. It might not be as popular, but it's reached classic status, which means it will always have a solid fan base and multiplayer base.

Not dying,you can still find plenty of people playing every day and there´s always new addons being added to the workshop,sure it´s not as popular as it used to be but it still has a stable playerbase.

I think its slowly bleeding out. Most people that play it are from a steam sale or are dedicated fans. Considering how old the game is it’s amazing that it gets about 10,000 players every day, games that came out the same year like modern warfare 2 are a ghost town now.

Absolutely not. Left 4 Dead is a popular series just like Team Fortress 2 and Counter Strike Go. You can always find tons of people playing this game on Steam, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. It might be an old game but it's definitely not dead.

This game isn't dead as people above claimed that there is a solid fanbase with a lot of multiplayer matches going on. There's about 7,000 to 15,000 people playing each day which is impressive for a very old game and also Steam in general. Did you know that Left 4 Dead 2 is actually one of the most popular games here in terms of online users? If anything, the prequel Left 4 Dead 1 is dead (pun not intended) because there's only on average over 600 people playing each day with most not even playing online.

all we need is half life 3, thats all but valve is lazy these days
