Played the game straight, no cheats, up to Downtown level. No achievements rewarded, for anything.

I don't mean 'a couple are missing', I mean I didn't get a single one. I should've hit at least half of them, but no.

Have I bought a broken game? Considering there's been no activity in here or updates to the game for the last year, so I don't have my hopes up.

The game itself works fine. I think they fixed a couple of bugs in the last update that prevented people from progressing. I finished the game without any issues, but yes, the achievements are broken. Most of them are easy enough to figure out when you get them so you can use the Steam Console, or SAM, to unlock them when you should have earned them normally.
