Munch is more like Feeding Frenzy in that you have a predefined path of progress. I haven't tried Evolution VR, but from what I see in trailers and gameplay videos Munch is very different apart from the "Eat everything" theme.
In Munch you have a rising difficulty level as you progress through 20 waves where you have to be quick or you'll be dead. You also have direct control over Munch and movement is more like Xortex in The Lab than Evolution VR, so there is no waiting for Munch to catch up to where you want it to move to. In that aspect Munch is a much higher paced game, especially once you get to the later waves.
For the basic gameplay you are very welcome to download the demo and try it out, although I can tell you that it only contains 1 wave and is only representative for the difficulty of the very first waves in the full game.
I hope that helps and don't hesitate to ask further questions
