There isn't any real replay value, the game just takes a long time to beat due to having to grind for levels, good equipment, and items to upgrade said equipment. Since you can make multiple parties, you can do any build you want in the first playthrough, but it will take a long time to level up multiple parties.
There are no real branching storylines and dialogue options only change the reactions of certain characters as a response, but doesn't change how the story will play out.

I know I am probably missing on a few twist, but it just made me want to buy Abyss even more haha
If you own Abyss you get special items awarded in the classroom like the free DLC awards... but skill items like quick slash and rush.
There were 4 or 5 they gave and you equip them to unlock the skills on the equiped characters. Once I bought Abyss I put this on the backburner til I finish it.
