Player 1 and 2 mapped to 1 controller
I click new game and when I hit the A button it registers both 1 and 2 player. Tried going to options to do something about it but nothing so far.

Same issue over here with Speedlink Strike FX (Wireless). Choosing a cable controller did help me somehow, but that doesn't explain the issue.

Hello - the game is querying different IDs for each controller, so I can only assume this is somehow down to the drivers being used somewhere along the line. If a controller is being mapped to more than one ID, it'd cause this problem.

If you go to your control panel->Devices And Printers, is it only showing one controller there?

Yeah just one controller so far which is just my 360 controller. https://puu.sh/wIQWp/dbb4b44fee.png

This is very odd. Are you running any additional software for controllers? Or made any additional controller configuration changes within Steam?

The entire game was developed using 360 controllers, and we've never seen this issue :(

(Obviously, we'll try to get a fix in if we can pin down the problem to something in-game.)

Currently no additional software for controllers and no controller configuration via changes within Steam.

Could it possibly be all of my USB cords confusing my controller as another controller? I'm checking if any other programs that could effect it but no cigar.

I use my Plantronics headset via usb, both of my Logitech gaming keyboard/mouse.. I also use a USB extension for my laptop

I am wondering whether something like that could be a problem - you seem to have a lot of stuff connected ... but unless anything is pretending it's a controller, that shouldn't be a problem.

I too am running into this issue on Windows 7. No other controllers onnected except the gamepad.

Yeah I'm stumped. I have no idea what's causing it.

This just happened to me today. Very strange.
Closing the game and plugging the pad into a different usb port fixed the problem.

Wow, for me as well. I use a USB hub, and while it was connected to one plug, I got the two-in-one problem. Connecting it to a different port fixed it. So weird, but thank you.
