Hello, everyone!

We're continuing to improve the experience of Legion Was Here. Version 1.0.0.0 is now available on the Steam Beta branch, and we welcome players who would like to help us polish the game to try it early and share their feedback!

This update focuses on display settings, visual effects, achievement fixes, and small adjustments across several story chapters.

• Windowed and fullscreen modes added: You can now switch freely between windowed and fullscreen modes in the game settings.

• Reduced flashing effects option added: We've introduced a setting to make the experience more comfortable for players who are sensitive to flashing visuals. When enabled, most flashing effects in the game are slowed down or disabled.

• Fixed the end-credits achievement not unlocking correctly: Previously, players who reached the end credits might not receive the corresponding achievement. Now, if your save file contains a score record for the “Legion: Origins” mission, the achievement can be awarded retroactively from the title screen, without replaying the game.

• Corrected the names of some achievements.

Become Patrick

• Fixed a display issue on the final score screen.

London Undercover

• Fixed an issue where the game would still give a hint after the player had answered a question correctly.

The Big Day

• Adjusted information in a document to make the related clue more coherent and consistent.

• Fixed a bug that awarded the wrong ear shape.

Mafia Blues

• Fixed a missing word in the French text on the ghost's hand.

If you'd like to try these changes early and help us identify any remaining issues, follow these steps:

• 1. Find Legion Was Here in your Steam Library.

• 2. Right-click the game and select “Properties”.

• 3. Open the “Betas” tab.

• 4. Enter the following password in the beta access code field:

l3gionb3tabuild

5. Once the code is accepted, select the corresponding Beta branch and wait for Steam to finish updating the game.

The Beta branch is a test build. It may contain undiscovered bugs or save compatibility issues, and it could even corrupt or delete save data.

For this reason, we strongly recommend that everyone who wants to participate:

• Back up your existing game saves before switching to the Beta branch.

• Keep your backup in a separate, safe location so it won't be overwritten during testing.

• If you prefer not to take the risks associated with a test build, please stay on the default public version on Steam.

Please note: Switching back to the public version afterward does not guarantee that any save issues encountered during testing can be undone. Keep your original backups safe.

Every piece of feedback helps us make Legion Was Here better.

If you encounter new bugs, unexpected behavior, or anything else that could use improvement while testing the Beta, please let us know in the Steam Community discussions.

Thank you to everyone who supports Legion Was Here, and especially to those who take the time to test the game and help us improve it!

We hope you continue to enjoy every story and every unexpected twist in the game!
