i tried messing with the window screen display, screen resolution, and graphic quality and nothing has worked so far. the intro is kinda slow as well and guy looks like hes speed walking but not going anywhere.

I was wondering this as well. Also assumed it was just the game style, until I watched cjugames play it on YouTube, and he's walking at a normal pace. I'm so confused cause the game never stuttered or lagged. Audio never got choppy. No signs of my computer struggling to run it... I just walked at a snail's pace

ScareCAT, watch this. He's moving twice as fast as I did. I seriously thought it was a part of the game too.. As I said nothing about it pointed to lag or video card or any other issues. It's so odd

Ok, this is super bizarre. Has a developer contacted anyone and explained or fixed it? I will ask for refund if not as I feel like this is going to be a huge problem if I try to actually run from anything :/ In other words, super frustrating kinda game, is that true?

well you never need to run, so that's ok. It's just annoying to know you should be going faster

My gut feeling says the devs put the ridiculously slow walk intentionally to pad out the game and get less steam refunds.

Wish this info had been available in the 'positive' reviews as I wouldn't have wasted my time or money on it especially seeing as the issue dosen't seem to be being addressed by the developers in any way.

I had the same exact problem! Combined with the random crashes and with the worst saving system I have ever seen in my whole life, this horrible bug made me basically waste 2 hours of my time, and I wasn't even able to finish the game! It crashed near the end! And the last save was at one quarter! I refused to go through all that suffering again. I'm afraid I'll have to ask for a refund this time...
