Should I start at Front Office Football Eight or FOF7?

I had never heard of this series until a few days ago. I got my first Madden game as a gift fifteen years ago and very quickly found and adored Franchise mode. I still keep a copy of Madden 07 and play it relatively frequently. I'm sold on the conceit of the series but they said I might want to start on FOF* or FOF7. Any reason for that or should I just pull the trigger on this version?

FOF7 would probably be cheaper but in all honesty it's way less approachable than FOF8. This game has massive leaps in user friendliness that the previous really missed. I would definitely recommend this one but last i checked there are demos you can play to see how much you like it
